Storm in Peshawar, KPK

Peshawar and its surrounding areas were badly hit by a mini cyclone on 27th April'15. The storm destroyed many billboards in the city. The lightening was heavy during that time. The picture below shows the lightening of 27th April'15.

Piplala - A village in Pakistan

Piplala is a beautiful place in Pakistan which is located at a 2 and a half hour drive from the city, Peshawar. It is my village and is absolutely a fabulous place to visit.
Here is a snapshot from my Canon 60D of a women working in Piplala. The water is present due to the dam being constructed.

The Innocence of Ammad

Ammad - A boy i met in the Village Piplala said he loves fishing. There is a small area in Piplala where the dam water is present. Ammad goes in the evening in that area to do fishing which is his hobby.

The Art of Pakistani Buses

The buses of Pakistan are well known due to their magnificent decor. Every time i pass by a well decorated bus , even I am amused. The beauty lies in the hands of the people who make the art on the buses. Hats-off and a round of applause for them all !
I took this shot from my car when the bus was right in front of me.

Slow Shutter - Beauty of Piplala

Many of us do not encounter such beautiful waterfalls in our daily lives. Piplala is a beautiful place to visit and is a village in KPK region of Pakistan.
The shot is taken with the help of my Canon 60D at a slow shutter speed.

The Old man

PESHAWAR- The old man in the picture is selling "channay" for the sake of his living. He roams around in the Saddar area of peshawar with his small cart in order to earn some money. However , the man is hiding his stress and tiredness by wearing black glasses.

Qilla Baala Hissar

Going back to the history of peshawar, the picture shows a dummy being hanged in a specific area of Qilla Baala Hissar. Back in old times the death sentence used to be given to the criminals in qilla baala hissar at this specific place known as the gallows.

Patriotism at its Peek

PESHAWAR- The patriotism of the citizens can be seen on the Independence day (14th August) .
The picture below shows a car well decorated for the 14th August. Moreover in the second picture the man is half out of his friend's car with a big flag of Pakistan. Pakistani national songs were being played loud and the man kept on waving the flag his entire way.

Child Labour in the Month of Ramadan

PESHAWAR- The child shown in the picture is making "Pakoras" and "Samosas" in the Holy month of Ramadan before the Aftaar time. The child is doing so in order to earn some money for his poor family. This picture was taken in the "Town" area of Peshawar, Pakistan.
